God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
1 PETER 4:10
EQUIPPING OTHERS TO SERVE
Servant’s Heart, a volunteer-based ministry of Faith Christian Family Church, is all about one thing: serving others.
We exist to live out the love of Christ by serving the people around us and asking for nothing in return. Our heart is to inspire others to use their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities to meet the needs of the community.
Whether you enjoy hands-on projects, encouraging others, organizing events, praying with people, or simply being available to help, there are many opportunities for you to use your gifts through Servant’s Heart.
And if God has placed a ministry or outreach opportunity on your heart, but you’re unsure how to make it happen, we would love to come alongside you, encourage you, and help make your God-sized dream a reality.
ASSISTED LIVING OUTREACH
A compassionate ministry dedicated to bringing joy, connection, and spiritual encouragement to residents in senior assisted living facilities. Through engaging activities, heartfelt conversations, and uplifting prayer, our volunteers build meaningful relationships with seniors who are often lonely or feel forgotten. Whether sharing a laugh over a game, singing along to a favorite song, offering a listening ear, or praying with residents, we seek to reflect the love of Christ and remind each person that they are deeply valued and never alone.
Through every visit, our desire is to bring hope, encouragement, and meaningful fellowship while creating moments of joy and connection. Join us as we share compassion, friendship, and the love of Jesus—one resident, one conversation, and one visit at a time.
BACK to SCHOOL BASH
Servant’s Heart, Agape, and other community partners work together through the Back to School Bash to ensure every student in Warren County is equipped and encouraged as they begin a new school year.
Each year, this outreach provides nearly 1,000 children with new backpacks and school supplies. In addition, children can receive free haircuts and other necessities to help them start the school year with confidence.
The Back to School Bash is more than just a school supply event—it’s a fun-filled family experience featuring community resources, games, and food for the entire family. Through this outreach, families are reminded that they are supported, valued, and cared for by their community.
COMING SOON: SHARE HOUSE
Servant’s Heart was awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), a federal program designed to address unmet community needs for low- to moderate-income individuals. This grant will fund the construction of the Share House, a 6,000-square-foot community outreach center, with construction expected to begin in summer 2026.
The Share House will serve fragile families by collecting, staging, and distributing essential home furnishings. Donations will include new or gently used furniture, small appliances, dishes, bedding, and other household necessities. Individuals and families transitioning from homelessness to housing, fleeing domestic violence, recovering from house disasters such as fires, or experiencing financial hardship will be referred to the Share House through community partners and churches.
Providing basic household items—such as a bed to sleep in, dishes to eat from, and a table to gather around—can have a profound impact on a family, helping restore hope, dignity, and stability during difficult seasons of life.
We have one main mission – to love people into the Kingdom with no strings attached. We are the hands & feet of Jesus, loving, serving & giving help to the families in need in our area.
